We all love dogs - that's why we are here! However, loving dogs and the experience of having dogs is simply not enough to provide professional care. We are committed to hiring and supporting a highly educated and experience staff who are committed to consistent and regular continuing education and advancement. Each of our employees have completed over 100 hours of continuing education and various certifications to be a long-term hire. Each of our training staff has completed over 300 hours of continuing education and have passed third party boarded exams to become a part of the Roverchase Training Team. Each of our staff is committed to completing a minimum of 30 hours of continuing education annually as well as serving actively with an animal related non-profit throughout each year. We are passionate about dogs, but more importantly, we take the professionalism and science of animal care and husbandry very seriously. We are committed to having a staff of highly educated, professional, and continually learning professionals to serve you and your dog.

ABIGAIL WITTHAUER (She/Her)
FACILITY FOUNDER, DIRECTOR, FOUNDER OF THE ROVERCHASE FOUNDATION Abigail is the founder and owner of Roverchase and has been a professional dog trainer for nearly two decades. As one of the most certified dog trainers in the southeastern U.S., she a certified canine behavior consultant, a certified professional dog trainer, and one of just 70 trainers worldwide selected by Victoria Stilwell to hold the prestigious title of Victoria Stilwell Professional Dog Trainer. Abigail previously has worked as a veterinary technician, professional groomer, and professional pet sitter. When Abigail is not at Roverchase, she can often be found on her small hobby farm in Alabaster and working within the non-profit The Roverchase Foundation. |

JIMMIE VANCE (She/Her)
Certified Trainer
Jimmie is a graduate of the prestigious and rigorous Victoria Stilwell Academy for Dog Trainers. She completed her externship with Roverchase during her studies. Jimmie is also a Certified Professional Dog Trainer. At Roverchase Jimmie can be found teaching group classes, private lessons, and our day training program. Jimmie is also a pivotal part of preparing The Roverchase Foundation service dogs for their future by ensuring these special heroes are well-trained and experienced in public access settings.
Jimmie has a special interest in rescue, particularly "power breeds" such as pit-bulls. As a long-time pit-bull owner, Jimmie's experience and passion for these very special rescue dogs is a huge asset to the Roverchase team.
