PUPPY KINDERGARTEN

The American Veterinary Medical Association recommends that EVERY SINGLE PUPPY takes this class before they are 16 weeks old!

This fun-filled class will give you and your new puppy all the tools you need to start life together on the right paw! You will spend four weeks learning all about your puppy’s individual personality and teaching him the basics of living life with you. This is an open enrollment course designed for you to start with your puppy as soon as he comes to his new home! Classes are $135/4 weeks.

  • Appropriate for puppies 6 weeks to 16 weeks of age who are seeing a regular veterinarian for routine care
  • Begin this 4 week rotating course as SOON as you get your new puppy and cycle through all four weeks
  • Learn basic manners and commands like sit, wait, walk with me
  • Potty Training, Crate Training, Puppy Nipping and other common behaviors are covered in this class
  • LOTS of socialization time in a safe environment so your puppy can learn the skills he needs to be a confidant and happy companion
  • Early intervention classes are recommended by The American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior (AVSAB) as the best way to start training your puppy!
HOW EARLY SHOULD YOU START PUPPY KINDERGARTEN?
According to the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior, “in general, puppies can start puppy socialization classes as early as 7-8 weeks of age. Puppies should receive a minimum of one set of vaccines at least 7 days prior to the first class and a first deworming. They should be kept up-to-date on vaccines throughout the class.” Read more about when you should start Puppy Kindergarten and Socialization.
